Scott A. Schoen is a Vice-Chairman of THL. Mr. Schoen previously worked in the Private Finance Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Mr. Schoen is currently a Director of The Nielsen Company. His prior directorships include Affordable Residential Communities, Inc. (NYSE:ARC), Axis Specialty Ltd. (NYSE:AXS), First Alert, Inc., LaSalle Re Ltd., Rayovac Corporation, Simmons Company, Spectrum Brands, Inc. (NYSE:SPC), Syratech Corporation, Transwestern Publishing, L.P. and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts (NYSE:WYN).
Mr. Schoen holds a B.A. in History from Yale University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.B.A from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mr. Schoen is currently on the Board of Trustees of Partners Continuing Care, a member of the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Regenerative Medicine and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Yale School of Management.
